About 3D-2N Crater Rim Senaru & Segara Anak Lake Trek

The Senaru crater rim and Segara Anak Lake trek begins and ends in Senaru village, North Lombok. This trek is suitable for people who do not have much time to explore all the main spots of Mt. Rinjani but still want to have the best experience on a challenging adventure on Lombok Island. You will climb to one of the best viewpoints this mountain has to offer. You will traverse through a dense, virgin rainforest for a considerable distance. Breaking the shade of trees, you will trek up, following the grassy gridline to the crater rim.

Itinerary

Day 0: Arrival Day

Waiting for Your Arrival: We’ll be eagerly awaiting your arrival at the confirmed location.
Transfer to Our Office: Our driver will then take you to our office in Senaru village.
Check-In: Upon your arrival at our office, you’ll complete the necessary payment and check-in to your accommodation.
Explore Senaru Village and Waterfall: Following this, our experienced tour guide will accompany you on a leisurely exploration of Senaru village. If you arrive in Senaru village before 3 pm, you’ll have the opportunity to visit a renowned waterfall, one of Lombok Island’s cherished tourist attractions.
Evening Briefing: In the evening, we will provide you with a comprehensive explanation of the program, our trekking guide will meet you and provide a detailed explanation of the hiking plan you’ve chosen.

Day 1: Senaru - Senaru Crater Rim

Wake up at 6:30 am and get breakfast. After that, we’ll walk 10 minutes to the Rinjani Trek Center Senaru to register. Trekking Rinjani start from the Rinjani Trek Center Senaru around 08:00, start to walk through dense tropical forest rich in flora, bird life and variety of butterflies. Stop a break we’ll take at Post 2 Montong SATAS shelter (1,500 m) for a cup of tea with some biscuits. After the break continue to trek up for 2 hours to Pos 3 Mondokan Lolak (2,000 m) for a break and lunch.

We will immediately leave Pos 3 after lunch and up to Senaru crater rim (2641m) for 2 hours. Senaru crater has the most spectacular view after the peak. We will enjoy an incredible sunset over Mount Agung in Bali and the smoke from the new volcano on the edge of the lake and camp here for the night.

Day 2: Crater Rim Senaru - Lake & Hots Spring - Crater Rim Senaru

After breakfast with a beautiful sunrise, we will walk down to Segara Anak lake for 2 hours and enjoy with hots spring, panorama of Segara Anak lake, lunch and rest.

After that return up to the crater rim Senaru basecamp for 2,5 hours, dinner and sleep in tent.

Day 3: Crater Rim Senaru - Senaru Village

After breakfast with a beautiful sunrise, we will leave Mount Rinjani descend to Senaru village through the rainforest. If we are lucky, we can see the rare black monkey. It takes 5 hours and we will take lunch along the way. Arrive at Senaru village (601 m) the Car will take you to your next destination.
